Midterm Assessment

 

1. What is your team name / number?

  • The "A" Team, (#9)

 

2. Please describe any revisions you need to make to any of your project goals. Make sure you list:

  • The original goal:   Raise minimum of 700$ for boys and girls club by april 10, determine specific goals and projects to fundraise and raise money for the club.

  • The proposed revision:  We have not made and changes to our goals at the moment.

  • Why you would like to change it?:  No changes at this time.

 

3. What percentage of your PRIMARY goal to you have completed? (money not turned in doesn't count):

  • I would say were around 50% currently we are preparing to have our event this sunday (3/30). we've been busy getting everything in line and ready for the basketball tournament. we still don't have any funds in but we also haven't gotten that far yet.

 

4. Describe your SECONDARY goals and explain how you're progressing with them. Use concrete terms and percentages, when applicable.

  • Our secondary goal is to gain the knowledge and experience of our project activities to develop the skills necessary to work and lead in small groups in the future. team participation in discussing communication and small group concepts using critical thinking methods and interpersonal communication skills,  Our second goal is to actually benefit the boys and girls club of bloomington normal as well as to understand the funds that are needed and where funds will be used as well as visiting the boys and girls club and seeing what the organization is about. We have been to the boys and girls club and everyone has been participating and communicating with one another quite well.

 

5. Percentage of AGENDAS submitted on time, in full and correctly (look at the thoroughness of posts as well as whether or not they're following directions - your team might need to revisit the directions to be sure).

  • 100% of our agendas have been on time, except our first submission had a formatting issue however it was resolved.

 

6. Percentage of MINUTES submitted on time, in full and correctly (look at the thoroughness of posts as well as whether or not they're following directions - your team might need to revisit the directions to be sure).

  • 100% of our minutes have been on time and have been thorough.

 

7. Percentage of meetings that are fully attended (excused absences are still absences)

  • About 95% of our meetings have been fully attended save for a few cases of sickness or other responsibilities.

 

8. Is your website portfolio completely up to date?Yes

 

9. On a scale of 1-5 (1 meaning “not at all” and 5 meaning “definitely”) do you think your group is on the right track for accomplishing your fundraising goal:

  • 4 - "most likely"

 

10. On a scale of 1-5 (1 meaning “not at all” and 5 meaning “definitely”) do you feel all team members are contributing equally:

  • 5 - "definitely"

 

11. Please list your team members (first and last names), their formal roles and summarize their contributions to date (both in terms of fulfilling their roles AND in terms of contributions to primary and secondary goals).

  • Adrian - Recorder- Has accomplished all the minutes and agendas fully and on time. Ideas and contributions to fundraising towards both our goals.

  • Anthony - Treasurer- has fulfilled all responsibilities to this date competently and on time has also helped on one of the reflection papers as well as working with all of us and contributing to our meetings and goals.

  • Brendan - Treasurer- Has fulfilled all responsibilities to this date competently and on time, has also helped write one of the reflection papers, as well as contributing and helping the group with any all and all goals.

  • Christine - Webmaster- Has completed and continues to update the website, has also contributed to one of the reflection papers, as well as contributing and helping with any and all group ideas and goals

  • David - Historian- Has fully kept up to date with any and all requirements for the groups as well as helping driving to the boys and girls club as well as being a productive and helpful member on the team with all of our ideas and goals.

  • Nicole - Liason - Has been in touch with Grant at the boys and girls club and continues to work back and forth with him getting any necessary papers or information needed for both parties. and also contributes and helps with all of our group ideas and goals.

  • Anayah - Liason - She has been in charge of staying in touch with the teacher and any necessary school officials for our events, has been contacting and finalizing the requirements to put on our charity event. As well as contributing and helping with all of our group goals and ideas.

 

12. On a scale of 1-5 (1 meaning “not at all” and 5 meaning “definitely”) do you feel your team meetings are productive:

  • 5 - "definitely"

 

13. What will you as a team do to make your meetings more productive?

  • We as a group are very productive and determined to get our work done, we have a strict work ethic and at the moment we are preparing for our charity event so depending on the outcome of that, will determine how much work we will have to do to meet our goals.

 

14. How would you grade your group’s effort and progress to date:

  • A

 

15. Provide a rationale for this grade by citing specific team accomplishments: Given the current time restraints everyone has been working and contributing to the project.

  • We've all had shared roles and responsibilities. We have encountered our own roadblocks but have plowed through them and continue to work and stay focused and determined to our goals.

 

16. What changes will you make to your team’s plan / habits / timeline based on this assessment? How are you going to revise what you’re doing to to help you achieve your goals?

  • Depending on how the charity event goes we probably won't make any changes to our plans or habits as we have been hitting our paces as a team together and working quite well with one another. The only change we can think of at the moment is if we'll have to volunteer or make another charity event,

 

17. Is there anything else you'd like me to know about your team and your progress?

  • Does our time volunteering at our charity basketball tournament help count towards our goal of 700$ for the boys and girls club?
